Job Position – Senior Database Engineer

MongoDB + PostgreSQL
Location: Onsite – Dubai, UAE

Job Type: 6-Month Extendable Contract

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science
Relevant certifications (Desirable)
8+ years in large organizations
Banking background (Desirable)

MongoDB (Essential)
Database administration, architecture, HA & clustering
Monitoring tools, backup/restore, replica sets & sharding
Patching/upgrades, security, auditing, logging
Performance tuning, diagnostics, and database migration

PostgreSQL (Desirable)
Database administration, architecture, backup/restore
Patching/upgrades, Ops Manager knowledge

General Tech Skills
SQL, PL/pgSQL, Unix/Linux
Agile methodologies
Automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform)
Scripting (Bash, Python)

Behavioral Competencies
Strong communication, self-management, and multitasking
Ability to work under pressure and drive strategic initiatives
